In this seemingly idyllic village of Alagos, you’ve all come to meet. A procession is held annually
on the consecrated temple grounds in honor of Dewi Sri.
What at first seemed to be a hill proves to be a vine-covered and fern-topped wall. More walls rise above the first in a series of titanic steps as the great ziggurat rises out of the jungle to rear its head from the forest canopy. A shrill cry from beneath the treetops of a distant hill, and soon it is echoed by similar calls from the trees somewhere to your right.
The god's territory may appear to you, brave souls as the air charges with danger, the senses sharpen, and a brewing hunt or battle whispers its approach on the wind. The blowing grasses still, bird calls cease, and animals surround the great clearing. All present feel the power of the wild take over the world when the god strides down from the foothills to the altar and unleashes its warcry.
But something is wrong.
A Scream. A Song. A S-
It permeates into the village of Alagos but nothing stirs and you find yourself in the very heart of it.
The only word that fills your mind.
"RUN!"
